My name is Traca Hilson. I am so excited to be a part of the O'Donnell team. I teach 4th and 5th grade reading and social studies. This is my third year to be with O'Donnell, but my 24th year to be in education. I graduated from WTAMU in 1997 with my bachelor's degree and from ASU in 2017 with my master's degree in administration.
Reading and writing are my favorite subjects to teach. I am very passionate about teaching and love to share my passion for reading and writing with my students.
To tell you a little more about myself, my happy place is with my family, which includes my husband, Mike Hilson, and our sweet little boy, Samuel. Aside from spending time with my family, I enjoy riding my bike, reading, writing, and trips to the mountains.
At the very core of my being, is my desire to help those around me to grow and attain their goals. Our school theme is "Be...". It is my hope that we will each be able to show growth and BE AMAZING in many ways throughout this year. I am excited for us to be able to read, GROW, and learn together.
