I grew up in Lamesa, TX and graduated from LHS in 1971. I attended college for 2 years at Angelo State University and Lubbock Christian University. Then, I married my husband and chose to stay home and help him on the farm and raise our 4 children (Misty, Kristy, Richie and Tyler). I treasure those years!

Then, I decided to finish my education some 17 years later and pursue a degree in Education and the teaching field. I graduated from Texas Tech University in 1990 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Elementary Education with a Grades 1-8 Certification and a Reading Specialization.

 I have been teaching for 32 years. I have taught 3rd grade, 4th grade, and 5th grade.  Most of those years I taught the Reading, Math, English, Science, and Science Fair.

I am currently teaching 4th and 5th grade MATH.
