Lindy Brewer

 

My name is Lindy Brewer.  I am the school nurse.  I love all aspects of nursing.  It is a wonderful career, and I have found it to be very rewarding.

 

I graduated from Howard Collage Vocational School of Nursing in 1983 and promptly began my career at Lynn County Hospital in Tahoka.  I worked in all areas of the hospital from the emergency room and pharmacy to Medical Records and Quality Assurance.  I value those years at the hospital and attribute learning many important nursing skills while employed there.

 

In 1996, I reached another level of nursing at O'Donnell I. S. D.  This will be my 11th year as school nurse.  I continue to learn important things, but this time the skills that are mostly needed are kindness, compassion and the ability to listen.  I love my position here and hope to continue with this gratifying position.

 

I have been married to Randy Brewer for 26 years and we have one daughter, Bailey who is a sophomore at O'Donnell High School.  My hobbies include quilting and collecting antiques.  I also enjoy spending time with my family at all Eagle events and stock shows.
